Former Super Eagles captain, Mikel Obi has said that he doesn't rule out a move to the Egyptian Premier League.
Mikel ended his contract with Turkish side, Trabzonspor, after his worries about COVID-19 were brushed aside by the club.
The 33-year-old former Chelsea player has revealed that he still has desires to continue playing football and is not ruling out a move to Egypt.
Speaking to Egyptian media OnTime, Mikel said, “Playing in the Egyptian Premier League? Why not?.
“I am a professional footballer, and everything is possible. I never ruled anything out.
“My goal is to continue playing football, and I hope I will have the opportunity, I do not reject any offers made to me, but rather study them well until I make the right decision.”
