Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba has revealed why he wore a Juventus jersey while having a home training session.
Pogba was seen in a video training with his United teammate Victor Lindelof while putting on the jersey of Juventus which he once played for.
According to the French International, he wore the jersey to show solidarity with compatriot Blaise Matuidi who tested positive to COVID-19.
He said: “New training camp is called: ‘Quarantine PP Arena, open 24/7.
“Have fun working at home with my brother Victor Lindelof!
“Supporting our friends Blaise Matuidi, Albin Ekdal, and all athletes and people around the world! Be strong, #StayAtHome and be safe.
“I know the cheeky ones will talk about the Juventus jersey.
“I’m just supporting my friends… that’s all, nothing more.”
Blaise Matuidi and Daniele Rugani are the only Juventus players who have tested positive to the virus which has been declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization.
