The ongoing governorship election in Edo State has been marred with irregularities as electorates protested the absence of result sheets in Ward 8, unit 1, Orhionmwon, in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of the state

A video that has since made the rounds on social media shows electorates demanding to see the election sheets before they cast their votes.

Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were unable to provide the sheets saying “they are bringing it”.

In reaction, the voters who had already queued to participate in the exercise said they wouldn't vote if the result sheets were not available.

Daily Post reports that before the election, there were reports that some political parties were planning to forge results.
