A voter who cast her ballot in the ongoing Edo governorship elections has revealed her choice in the polls.
The user with the handle @naijagirllife posted that she voted for Olumide Akpata, the candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the elections.
In the post, which has since generated several reactions, she wrote: "I have done my part! I voted right, I voted LP. I voted for Olumide Akpata for Governor of Edo state. AKPATA IS COMING!!!"
This election has proven to be one of the most peaceful in the state.
Aside from the late start in several polling units, the exercise has been devoid of controversy.
Akpata, who hopes to upset the odds, described his voting experience as "seamless."
Akpata cast his vote at Oredo Ward 6, Unit 11, beaming with smiles and giving thumbs up to the cheering crowd.
He, however, expressed his wish that every other voter in the state will have the same seamless experience as he did.
I have done my part!
