Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, decided to give meals to his town as a way to give back to society.

Women were shown in a video putting the food in bags and giving them to the people in the neighbourhood. One woman had to ask the crowd to quiet down as they started to get unruly.

Portable was there and captured the action on camera. Only a few days had passed since he was captured on camera assaulting Alhaji Don Shi, better known as Ika Promoter, the promoter of his performance.

Some social media users advised him to issue an apology rather than attempt to use charity to hide his misdeeds.
