Some Super Eagles stars shone for their European clubs last weekend, with a handful of these players finding the back of the net.
From the Premier League to the German Bundesliga, MyNigeriaSports puts the spotlight on some Nigerian players who scored for their clubs in Europe's top five leagues.
Paul Onuachu
The lanky Super Eagles striker scored the winner for Southampton in their crucial Premier League clash against Ipswich Town on Saturday, January 1.
It was the 30-year-old's second Premier League goal of the season for the Saints in a rock-bottom Premier League campaign.
Joe Aribo
Aribo scored the opener in the same game, which saw Onuachu grab the winner in the 87th minute.
The former Rangers midfielder gave the Saints the lead in the 21st minute of the game before Liam Delap leveled the score 10 minutes later.
It was Joe Aribo's third Premier League goal of the season in 23 appearances for the Saints.
Victor Boniface
After spending three months on the sidelines, Boniface not only returned to the pitch for Leverkusen but also found himself on the scoresheet.
Amid his failed move to Al Nassr, the 24-year-old was trusted with a starting role by manager Xabi Alonso, and he seized the opportunity with aplomb.
Boniface needed just a quarter of an hour to announce that he is back and here to stay at the Bay Arena.
It was Boniface's 9th goal of the season in 16 appearances for the Bundesliga title holders.
Gift Orban
Orban scored the only consolation for Hoffenheim in their 3-1 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.
After opening his goal account for the club last week, the 22-year-old maintained his goal-scoring form for the club.
