Marc Jurado has announced that he's on his way to Manchester United from Barcelona where he has been since the age of seven.

The 16-year-old made the announcement in a farewell message after agreeing personal deals with Manchester United.

Jurado who came from the club's La Masia academy was already bent on a move to Manchester United and couldn't be held by effort from Barcelona to keep him in Spain.

Manchester United may have to pay a compensation fee of £200,000 pounds to Barcelona who trained Jurado.

"Every stage has a beginning and an end. Mine, having reflected a lot with my family, has come.

“I leave behind unforgettable memories which will always stay with me,” Jurado wrote.
