Al-Nassr forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted after he smashed another record in the Saudi Pro League.
The captain of the Saudi side recently set a record for most goals in the league after scoring a brace that saw his side defeat Al-Ittihad 4-2 at home on Monday in their final league game of the season.
He scored a brace as his teammate Abdulrahman Ghareeb while Meshari Al-Nemer scored with a late strike late in the game.
Reacting, Ronaldo, in a post via his Instagram, wrote:
“I don’t follow the records, the records follow me.”
Ronaldo’s brace mean, he took his goals tally to 35 in the Saudi League this season, surpassing the previous record of 34 goals scored in the 2018–19 season by Abderrazak Hamdallah.
