It was a full house at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Thursday when the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) launched the new ball for the 2025 season in the Kano Pillars versus Enyimba FC game.

The game dubbed Zobia Classic saw two Super Eagles legends face off in the person of Ahmed Musa of Kano Pillars and Brown Ideye of Enyimba FC.

A defensive mix-up in the Enyimba FC backline allowed Abba Adam to pounce and give the home side the opener in the Zobia Classic

The electrifying game saw Adam score a brace to give Kano Pillars the day.

The game is the first defeat for Enyimba in the NPFL25 since a 1-0 loss at El-Kanemi Warriors on October 20, 2024.

Enyimba now has two wins, seven draws and one loss to sit in the eight position on thr league table.

Kano Pillars currently occupies the seventh position following Thursday's win at home.
