Viral video shows Adams Oshiomhole joining queue to vote in Edo State

A video has emerged on social media showing Adams Oshiomhole, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), joining the queue to cast his vote.

Oshiomhole has played a crucial role in the party's campaign in the state, rallying support for the party's candidate, Monday Okpebholo.

The former Edo State governor could be seen shaking hands with an unnamed official as residents looked on.

The election in Edo has experienced delays, with voting yet to start in some polling areas.

Earlier reports suggested that the delay was due to the late arrival of security personnel who were meant to escort the voting materials.

Meanwhile, operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have reportedly arrested at least three suspected vote buyers in the ongoing governorship election in Edo State, according to Channels TV.

The suspects were apprehended in the Egor Local Government Area of the state around 10:00 am on Saturday.

EFCC officials left the location with three suspects, two males, and a female.
