Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole (born April 4, 1952) is a prominent Nigerian politician known for his diverse career in labor leadership and political governance. He first gained national attention as the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) from 1999 to 2007, where he led significant campaigns for industrial action against high petrol prices, advocating for workers' rights and social justice.

Oshiomhole served as the Governor of Edo State from 2008 to 2016. His tenure was marked by a focus on developmental initiatives and reforms, particularly in infrastructure, education, and healthcare, which brought noticeable improvements to the state. Following his governorship, he became the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from 2018 to 2020, although his tenure ended with a suspension by the Abuja Court of Appeal in June 2020.
