Acitivist Aisha Yesufu has urged Nigerians to move forward since the election has already occurred. Her statement comes after continued complaints from citizens about the economic challenges leading to severe hunger in the country under President Bola Tinubu.

The fearless activist emphasised that the current suffering in Nigeria is a consequence of past criminal activities.

She stated, “‘Election had already happened; you people should move on.’ Today’s suffering is the consequence of moving on from yesterday’s criminality.”

There have been complaints from Nigerians struggling to support themselves and their families due to the policies implemented by the Tinubu administration.

In another post, Yesufu reacted to a statement from the Nigerian national grid on X, explaining that due to the insecurity in the north, faulty sections could not be accessed. Despite attempts to use vigilantes for repairs, they were unsuccessful as the bandits discovered their plans.

Aisha Yesufu criticized the National Security Adviser for his earlier claim that insecurity had been reduced in the north.

She wrote, “The same insecurity that @NuhuRibadu said had been curtailed!”.

President Bola Tinubu has directed the Nuhu Ribadu to ensure that adequate security is provided for the engineers repairing the transmission lines.
