The Northern youths have expressed their commitment to embarking on a nationwide protest to rid the country of bad governance and hardship.

In a video circulating online, a youth sent a message to the All Progressives Congress (APC) following the removal of Senator Ali Ndume from his position as Chief Whip.

According to the youth, sacking Senator Ndume because he spoke the truth about President Bola Tinubu’s style of governance, will not deter the youths from protesting.

He stated that northern Nigerians are ready to take to the streets to express their grievances and exercise their civic responsibility.

“This is what I want to tell the APC and the federal government. Sacking Senator Ali Ndume will not going to sack the intentions of the youth.

“Sacking Senator Ali Ndume will not sack the intentions of the protest. The protest is very imminent, and we are gearing up.

“Northern Nigeria is gearing up. Why are you pained that Senator Ali Ndume spoke the truth? We stand with our esteemed Senator.

“However you decide to treat this particular case, it is not going to deter us from the protest. We are going to be on the field and we are going to exercise our civic responsibility and nobody can stop us from protesting.

“The time is now dear Nigerian youth. If not now, when? If not you, who?” the young man said.
