President of Nigeria's Senate, Ahamd Lawan has arrived Imo state's capital, Owerri to pay his last respects to Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu.
Benjamin Uwajumogu was a Nigerian senator representing Imo North senatorial district in the Nigerian Senate. He died on December 18, 2019, after falling ill for several weeks, according to his colleague Elisha Abbo.

The senator's burial rites were slated for today, Friday 21st, February 2020.
Lawan was pictured descending from the plane as he touched down at the airport.
