I like him - Ex-Minister says despite being sacked by President Tinubu in October

Former Minister of Women Affairs, Uju-Kennedy Ohanenye, revealed the reasons she admires President Bola Tinubu.

During an interview on Channels TV on Wednesday, December 25, Uju-Kennedy expressed her admiration for the President's determination and strong convictions regarding key issues affecting the country.

Despite being dismissed by Tinubu in October, she believes that Tinubu is the type of President Nigeria currently needs.

"There's something I like about our president. You know, his doggedness in doing things. He does things he feels that he's right, whether you feel anyhow on it or not. That is what we need right now. Somebody who will stand firmly and follow up a procedure, a policy that will lead us to a better life. That's what we need. So I think he's on the right path. That's what I would have done if I should have been the president," she said.

Earlier, Uju-Kennedy had asked the host to refer to her as the "sacked Ex-Minister of Women Affairs" in her first interview.

She was one of five Ministers removed from Tinubu’s cabinet.

During the interview, she requested the host to address her as the "sacked minister" rather than "removed," as the host had initially stated.
