The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has acknowledged an error in its report over the number of infectious diseases in Bauchi.
The health agency went on to Twitter to apologise for grossly misrepresenting figures and misinforming the public.
"Yesterday, we erroneously reported 2 new cases in Bauchi. Following further review, we can confirm that these were repeat tests for previously confirmed cases.
'We apologise for this error and remain committed to ensuring transparent and accurate reporting of test results." the NCDC said
Here are the responses of Nigerians to the tweet.
I know you're working hard but errors in this details give some of us high blood pressure. We'll be glad if they're accurate. Thank you for your efforts ????????

If Government can always come to the public and Genuinely apologize for their lapses, Nigeria would be a better place.
