Top fashion designer Victoria James Atere, professionally known as Veekee James, has responded to criticisms about her marriage and business.

In an interview with CreativiTea, Veekee stated that she is aware of the backlash over her public display of affection for her husband after her marriage.

Veekee James recently celebrated her one-year wedding anniversary to her husband Femi Atere with friends and family.

She stated that many people claim she is doing a lot, however, the “doing a lot” is what has brought her to her current level of life.

She added that she only puts out what she wants the public to know about her marriage, and there are other aspects that are hidden.

Veekee said: "I’ve seen marriages that didn’t make it to social media that didn’t last for one month" She mentioned that some people complain about the way she dresses because she tags herself a Jesus baby. Veekee also maintained that she loves to flaunt her God-given figure.
