Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has called out his colleagues Wizkid and Davido over their recent scuffle on social media.
Portable believes the two superstars are using their beef to remain relevant in the music industry.
He claims that their music is no longer marketable and as a result, they rely on their beef to market their songs.
The ‘Zazu’ crooner advised them to stop pulling each other down for promotion.
According to Portable, he does not support their ongoing social media war at a time when they both plan to release new songs.
On his Instagram story, he wrote: “Don’t use your brother to shine, shine yourself. Una songs no dey market again, na fight una dey use do promotion.
“Let’s forget fake promotions, I get hit songs. Portable is bigger than them. Who is big is big…
“Me, I no dey for Davido. Me, I no dey for Wizkid. I dey for myself. That’s why I dey for those who dey for me.”
Wizkid started his outburst on Tuesday night, October 1, 2024. He dragged Davido, describing him as "talentless and wack." He went on to include Davido’s family in his rants, which continued on Wednesday.
Davido, who is currently in New York unveiling his new collection with Puma, has refused to comment on Wizkid’s outburst.
