Grammy award-winner Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems, has responded to reports that she was expecting a child with Future, an American rapper.
Recall that the singer ignited pregnancy rumors when she was spotted in December 2023 at Burberry's Spring/Summer 2024 London Fashion Week show.
Tems wore a black dress with matching heels and a fluffy purple coat, and many people assumed that she was pregnant because of the way the dress clung to her body.
In a recent appearance on "The Breakfast Club," Tems questioned the choice of Future, who was allegedly responsible for her supposed pregnancy.
She questioned why the people spreading the rumors hadn't said that Wizkid or Drake was to blame for her alleged pregnancy.
She said, “People just take the most controversial things. Because I was thinking like, why am I pregnant for Future? Why Future? Because that’s the craziest."
Why not Wizkid? Why not Drake? Why not somebody else? If it was Drake, it would be the same thing but the reason why it is Future is because of his reputation.
He has about five kids. And has a reputation of being a ladies’ man.”
Tems also disclosed the well-known rappers who influenced her.
She mentioned J. Cole, Drake, Ab-Soul, Andre 3000, Lil Wayne, and Kendrick Lamar.
In 2021, she appeared on Drake's "Certified Lover Boy" album.
This year saw the release of Tems' debut album, "Born In The Wild," with only two featured artists, including J.Cole.
