Controversial street singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus has blamed the late Afrobeat pioneer and political activist Fela Kuti for his demise.
During his most recent appearance on the "Echoo Room" with media personality Quincy Jonze, Portable shaded the Afrobeat legend.
The contentious street singer claimed in a now-viral social media interview that Fela Kuti passed away early because he didn't mind his business, but rather he meddled in people's affairs.
In addition, Portable called rapper Zlatan Ibile, with whom he had an internet feud, the devil for causing the disagreement between him and afrobeats singer Davido.
He said, “According to what we were told, if Fela had minded his business a little he would have lived longer. But he was busy fighting for Nigerians wey no fight for themselves.
“I was in America looking for foreign artists. I was busy displaying my madness online when Davido called me to come. Me and Davido did not quarrel until when the devil Zlatan came.”
