Social media users have descended on Sophia Momodu, the first baby mama of afrobeats singer Davido for refusing the singer access to their daughter, Imade.
The responses followed Sophia Momodu's counter-affidavit, which contested the afrobeats singer's request for joint custody of Imade.
It should be recalled that Davido filed a lawsuit for shared custody of his daughter just a few days before his traditional wedding, claiming Sophia was denying him access and demanding money.
According to reports, Sophia reportedly submitted a declaration to challenge Davido's request for joint custody. Dr Anthony Idigbe, SAN of Punuka Attorneys, and Dr Bimpe Ajegbomogun, representing her legal team, filed the affidavit.
Following this, Sophia Momodu has come under fire on social media for refusing to give Davido access to their daughter. They said it was appropriate for her to give Davido custody of Imade so she could feel the affection of a father.
