Award-winning singer Yemi Alade has disclosed how she avoids becoming entangled in the dramas surrounding the entertainment industry.

The "Johnny" crooner claimed she doesn't let other people's viewpoints affect her.

Speaking at the "Rebel Queen" listening party for her new album in Lagos recently, Yemi Alade revealed that she chooses to ignore unfavourable comments.

According to her, anytime she hears something or a negative criticism that does not resonate with her, she tends to look elsewhere by not prioritizing those comments.

She said, “I don’t think about it [negative criticisms] too much. I’m just living my life because it’s the only life I have.

“Once I see or hear anything that doesn’t resonate with me, I look the other way and I keep it moving. Because everybody is entitled to their opinions.”
