Popularly Nigerian social media commentator, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, has strongly criticized the federal government for banning Eedris Abdulkareem’s song, "Tell your papa", from airing on television and radio stations in Nigeria.

In a video shared on his social media platforms, the vocal activist ridiculed the government’s decision, questioning its focus amidst more urgent national concerns. He denounced the leadership, describing it as “evil,” and drew attention to the persistent insecurity plaguing the country.

Verydarkman expressed his dismay over the government’s inaction regarding widespread killings and attacks on farmlands. He accused the authorities of ignoring the suffering of citizens while swiftly targeting a song that sheds light on public hardships.

He also raised alarm over the growing threat of terrorism and criticized the apparent lack of response from those in power.

Reacting to the ban, Verydarkman revealed plans to fund a remix of the contentious song, which he titled *Tell Your Papa Part 2*. He vowed to appear in the music video, promising an energetic performance. In a humorous twist, he mentioned casting someone resembling the president for the video.

He further emphasized his dedication to the project, stating that the remix would highlight even more pressing national issues and that he would actively promote it across his social media channels.
