Renowned vocalist Peter Okoye, better known as Mr P from Psquare fame has undergone a hair transplant surgery in Istanbul, Turkey.

He acknowledged that baldness bothered him so he decided to do something about it.

Mr P posted peeks of his voyage on his Instagram feed. Istanbul, a metropolis straddling both Asia and Europe, provided the setting for this life-changing event.

Peter Okoye disclosed that his goal was to correct his thinning hairline and boost his confidence in pictures so that his loyal fans would be satisfied.

He said: “Hey guys, Mr P is here. I’m here in Istanbul with Mr [name] who is here to look after my hair. You guys know I’ve been very uncomfortable about it but guess what, you will see the before and after of the magic these guys are about to do."

Mr P later shared a lunchtime Instagram story video showing the progress of his hair transplant.

He attested to the fact that about 2,400 hair strands were taken from different parts of his scalp and placed onto the bald places along his hairline.

He said: “The extraction part is done, we have about 2400 and it’s time to eat. I feel better 100%, nothing to worry about; just to look good for you guys,” he added.
