Veteran Nollywood actress Stella Damasus has responded to the incorrect pronunciation of her name, ‘Damasus’.

Nigerians have offered referred to the actress as ‘Damascus’ pronouncing the ‘s’ as ‘k’ and spelling it with a ‘c’ instead of an ‘s’.

In an interview with AforevQ, Stella Damasus laughed and clarified that her name is spelled and pronounced as “Damasus”.

Upon hearing this clarification, Nigerians shared their thoughts on the matter.
