Nollywood actress Stella Damasus was left in a sombre mood when she visited the graveyard of her late husband, Jaiye Aboderin, who passed away 20 years ago.
The actress stated that her grown daughters, who are now mature enough to do so, wished to honour his memory. She noted in the tearful video that God quickly took Jaiye away after giving him to her.
According to one of her daughters, she did not fully comprehend the events that transpired during her father's funeral twenty years ago.
The mother of two expressed gratitude to her loved ones for praying for them and accompanying them to the tomb. Stella Damasus also showed gratitude to those who were unable to attend but continued to support them virtually.
She prayed that the soul of her late husband continue to rest in peace.
On December 3, 2004, at the age of 33, Jaiye Aboderin passed away from a heart attack while playing basketball. He left behind his wife, Stella Damasus, and their two daughters.
