Nigerian musician and songwriter Simisola Kosoko, also known as Simi, has declared that she only listens to the music of her husband, singer Adekunle Gold and hers.

The vocalist disclosed on the "Zero Conditions" podcast that she only enjoys Adekunle Gold's music because of their marriage.

She said, “I don’t listen to anybody’s music, the reason I listen to my husband’s songs is because I’m married to him.“I like Post Malone’s first album ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys’. love J.Cole. I don’t listen to anybody’s music. Nothing changed. I just don’t know.

According to her, naturally, she barely listens to people's songs. She said she was listening to her album now because it was recently released, adding that she would stop listening to it very soon.

Simi said, “I don’t really listen to anybody’s music. The reason I’m listening to my album now is because it just came out. In a few weeks, I probably won’t listen to it as much as I do now.”

Recently, the artist faced backlash on social media after posting a video of herself in a swimsuit.

There, the singer played the popular TikTok challenge '2345678' in the pool alongside her spouse, family, and friends.

The mother of one was criticized by many for showing off her body so much for a married woman.

Simi recorded an apology video and posted it on social media. She claims that although Iyanu, her sister, cautioned her, she disregarded her advice. She apologized for disappointing her admirers and said she would wear a "Kaftan" the next time she went to the pool.
