Super Eagles star Odion Ighalo has revealed that he has never missed his tithing responsibilities since receiving his first salary as a professional footballer.
Ighalo, 35, shared that his first salary was N15,000 in 2005, and he paid a tithe from it following his pastor's teachings.
The Al-Wehda striker made this disclosure in a recent interview with Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade on Ash Christ TV.
“My first salary as a footballer was in 2005. It was N15,000, and because my pastor taught me about tithing, I have been paying tithes until today. I haven’t missed paying tithe,” Ighalo said.
“If you can be faithful with little, you will be faithful with any amount that comes your way,” he added.
