CEO of Goldenboy Entertainment, Patrick Anyaene has accused Davido of making an attempt on his life.
In a voice recording with HipTv, Anyaene allegedly revealed that the Nigerian singer drugged his drink on his birthday.
He said: "I dont want to go in this," he said. "Davido went personal with me and drugged my drink on my birthday, the same way they drugged Tagbo's drink to kill him. I was now acting up because my conscience strong, drug no fit kill me. They started calling me a crack head."

Giving an inside detail about Davido's Fia, he disclosed that Peruzzi wrote the song to shade Davido. He dragged the attention of the HipTv interviewer to a line Peruzzi used against his DMW boss thus:
"Let another man run my race...when the man dey hunger.
Bragging about the authenticity of his evidence, he said Davido had no effrontery to reply. Nevertheless, he promised to get all his investments made on Peruzzi.
