Controversial Ghanaian marriage counselor Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt has asserted that afrobeats singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, married his wife, Chioma Adeleke, to compensate her.

Speaking in an interview on the 'Rants, Bants and Confession' podcast, the contentious counsellor stated that he feels the Nigerian superstar married his third baby mama to compensate her for things she had done and been through with him.

According to counsellor Lutterodt, it was weird that Davido has three baby mamas but decided to settle down with his third baby mama. He opined that he believed Davido did not want a situation where he would marry someone else, knowing well that he had a child with Chioma and they lost him to the cold grips of death. In his opinion, it would have been torture for Davido.

Speaking further, Counselor Lutterodt clarified that there are various types of marriage.

Naming a few, he said there is for your sake, for this reason, if not because of you, the entrepreneur, compensation marriage and marriage of convenience.

Counselor Lutterodt urged people to be cautious so that they are not married based on something.

He said, "There’s issues surrounding their marriage. The reason why Davido chose to marry Chioma to me was because he was compensating Chioma

I have about 15 types of marriages that the brides do not even know are the reason they are getting married. For your sake, for this reason, if not because of you, entrepreneur, compensation marriage, marriage of convenience.

I feel it is not time for Davido to get married. If this lady wants to keep staying in the marriage, she should continue giving birth, and she will stay there forever. This is because Davido could not see himself marrying someone else knowing that he had a son with Chioma and they lost him. Be careful when someone stands on something to marry you.

A genuine marriage does not have to be based on something; rather, it should be because the person likes you and wants to stay with you because he loves you."
