The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM, has announced the arrival of 18 Nigerians stranded in some European countries.
NiDCOM revealed the Nigerians arrived at the Murtala Muhammed Internationa Airport in Lagos on Friday.
Their arrival was facilitated in conjunction with the Nigerian Mission in France from where they took off.
The agency tweeted: "18 Stranded Nigerians in some European Countries just landed in Murtala Muhammed Int’l Airport Lagos at exactly 2:50 pm local time from France on a Free repatriation exercise coordinated by the Nigeria Mission in France under Amb. Dr Modupe Irele.
"The exercise was monitored by Nigerians in Diaspora Commission on a free chartered flight facilitated by @Total
"They will now proceed on 14 days SELF-ISOLATION as mandated by @NCDCgov, Ministry of Health and Presidential Task Force on COVID-19".
