Osasuna head coach Vicente Moreno has lauded Nigerian international Umar Sadiq following his heroics for Valencia in the Spanish La Liga on Sunday, March 2.

The 28-year-old scored a remarkable brace as Los Che held Osasuna to a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Estadio El Sadar in Pamplona.

In a post-match reaction, Moreno described Umar's late equalizer against his side as a class act.

“It was a stroke of genius from Umar; in the end, you can do little,” the Osasuna boss said, as per Marca.

“In the second half, Osasuna did not know how to play with the score in their favour,” Moreno admitted.

“We were not calm or patient enough to create our plays. This haste made Valencia grow, and with a stroke of genius from Sadiq, they tied the game.”
