Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle will return to Nigeria to watch players in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) ahead of the World Cup qualifiers next month.

Chelle, who was appointed early last month, is currently on a European tour to visit some of the big names in the Super Eagles team.

The Malian tactician, together with his assistant Hedi Taboubi, visited Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi.

Chelle was also in France to meet with Nantes' Moses Simon.

The 47-year-old is expected to continue his tour this week before returning to Nigeria to assess players in the local league.

The Super Eagles will resume their World Cup qualifier campaign against Rwanda on Friday, March 1.

The team will later return to Nigeria for the next game against Zimbabwe five days later.
