Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has explained the reason behind his side's 2-2 draw against Bournemouth in the Premier League.
The Blues once again failed to pick up the maximum three points after taking the lead in the first half.
Chelsea star Cole Palmer gave the Blues the lead with a brilliant finish in the 13th minute.
Justin Kluivert restored parity for Bournemouth five minutes after the restart before Antoine Semenyo gave the Cherries a 2-1 lead in the 68th minute.
The Blues captain Reece James equalized from a free kick in stoppage time to salvage a point for the home side.
Explaining the reason for the draw, Maresca stated that his side changed their style of play after conceding.
“I don’t think so, I think we deserved much more, especially in the first half. That’s football.
“The negative thing is that we changed how we played after conceding. We dropped back.
“For sure, the most important thing is to create chances. It happened many times in the last four or five games. We don’t score and then we concede.
“Tonight after we conceded the penalty, we dropped a bit and we need to improve on that.”
