Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has vowed to bounce back stronger following a successful surgery.
The Nigerian goalkeeper underwent surgery on Monday, December 9, after injuring his wrist during Udinese's clash against Genoa last week.
The surgery was carried out by Doctor Loris Pegoli at the La Madonnina clinic in Milan, as revealed in a statement on the club's website.
The former Watford shot-stopper will now start his recovery process and is expected to be on the sidelines for a few weeks.
In a social media post, the 25-year-old wrote, “Surgery is done, Big thanks to Dr. Pegoli and his team! Played the last 2 months with a broken ligament in my hand, for now, I’ll be supporting the team from the stands, recovering and working hard for a comeback in top form! See you soon.”
