Atalanta stalwart Ademola Lookman has opened up on reports linking him with a move away from Bergamo.

Lookman has been phenomenal since joining the Serie A outfit in the summer of 2022 from RB Leipzig, after Leicester City declined to make his loan deal permanent.

The 27-year-old joined La Dea for a reported fee of €15 million, signing a four-year deal with the club.

He guided Atalanta to their first-ever European title by scoring a historic hat-trick against Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final.

The Nigerian international finished 14th in the 2024 Ballon d'Or ranking, becoming the only African to enter the top 30 nominees.

Lookman has also been tipped as the overwhelming favourite to win the 2024 African Footballer of the Year award.

His latest heroics include a remarkable performance against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night, despite his side eventually losing 3-2 to Los Blancos.

The Super Eagles winger, who was on target against the UCL title holders, was adjudged the Man of the Match after the game.

Addressing the speculations surrounding his future, Lookman expressed his delight at being linked to some of the top clubs in Europe.

"Obviously, the player that I was then is definitely a completely different player than I am today. And as a person, I have grown up, and I've matured a lot, and I have been able to achieve a lot in my time here,” he told Sporty TV.

“That’s also because I’ve been able to create a process in terms of my work and how I think and all different aspects of my life and areas that I could improve on and do, which I have done.”

"It’s all becoming who I am today, so I'm pleased with that, and wherever the future takes you, we shall see.”

Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, and Liverpool have all reportedly expressed interest in Lookman.
