Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has made an interesting tweak to his squad ahead of their trip to Greece for the Conference League.

The Blues have arrived in Athens for their matchday two Conference League tie against Panathinaikos on Thursday, October 24.

Chelsea will be looking to bounce back to winning ways after failing to pick up wins in their last two matches after the international break.

The West Londoners were held to a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest and lost 2-1 to Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League.

Italian tactician Maresca will be hoping to make it two wins in a row after beating Gent in the first game.

However, the former Leicester City boss has left out some of his key players at home ahead of the game.

According to the Blues website, the likes of Captain Reece James, Nicholas Jackson, Moises Caicedo, Levi Colwill and Malo Gusto have all been left out of the club.

This adds up to the likes of Cole Palmer, Romeo Lavia and Wesley Fofona who were not registered for the group phase.
