Nigerian sprint Athlete, Rosemary Chukwuma has qualified for the women's 100 meters semifinals at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The 22-year-old finished in third place in heat 5 behind Poland's Ewa Swoboda and the United Kingdom's Dina Asher Smith.
Chukwuma clocked a time of 11.26s to secure a spot in the semis.
Ewa Swoboda finished in first place with a season's best of 10.99s with Dina Asher Smith following closely with 11.01s.
Chukwuma joined the likes of Marie Josee-Ta Lou of Ivory Coast and Gina Bass of Gambia as the three African women athletes to qualify for the semifinals.
The women's 100m semifinal will take place at 6:00 pm on Saturday, July 3.
