The 13th edition of the African Games is currently underway in Accra, Ghana with Nigeria competing in the various sporting disciplines.

Nigeria is currently behind Egypt on the medal table having won a total of 78 medals including 27 gold, 21 silva and 30 bronze medals.

Egypt sits comfortably in first place having clinched an astounding 158 medals.

South Africa, Algeria and Tunisia occupy the third, fourth and fifth position with 93, 90 and 62 medals respectively.

Hosts Ghana are in 6th with a total of 46 medals.
