Premier League giants Manchester United are close to signing Andre Onana from last season's UEFA Champions League finalists Inter Milan.

Transfermarkt expert, Fabrizio Romano reports that there have been positive rounds of talks between the two clubs with the deal expected to be finalised soon.

With personal terms already agreed, the deal is expected to be sealed by close this week.

Onana is expected to replace De Gea whose lengthy spell at Old Trafford ended last season.

Manchester United wants the player to travel with the team for their pre-season tour in the United States.

The deal is estimated to be around €50m plus €5m add-ons.
