Cremonese striker Cyriel Dessers has declined a move to Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers this summer.

The Gers have set their sight on the Nigerian striker as a potential replacement for Columbian international Alfredo Morelos.

The 28-year-old is likely to remain in Serie A with Torino showing keen interest in his service.

The Super Eagles striker is bent on leaving Cremonese after they suffered relegation to Serie B last season.

Dessers failed to replicate his impressive form at Feyenoord for the newly promoted side as he only managed six goals in 26 league appearances for the club.

He joined Cremonese from KRC Genk last summer in a deal worth 6 million euros.
