Following Onuachu's exit, the Belgium Jupiler side wasted no time replacing him with his fellow countryman late hours into the January transfer window.
As per reports, Genk signed the 22-year-old Nigerian striker from Latvian club Valmiera for a reported fee of €5m.
Prior to his move to Genk, the young Nigerian striker had two loan spells at FC Köln and Amiens.
