Nigerian international Olakunle Olusegun scored the fastest goal in the history of the Russian Football National League in FC Krasnodar’s defeat to Rostov on Sunday, October 19.
The 20-year-old striker scored under nine seconds (8.9s) at a time the Commentator was still calling out the line-ups for both teams.
Despite writing his name in the history books, his side FC Krasnodar couldn't capitalize on the early lead as they lost 3-2 away at Rostov.
Olusegun represented Nigeria at the U-17 African Cup of Nations in 2019. He also represented the Golden Eaglets at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Some fans back home took to social media to commend the young striker on his new record.
