French Ligue One side Girondins Bordeaux have confirmed that Samuel Kalu will resume training on Wednesday.
Recalled Kalu collapse unchallenged in Bordeaux away match against Marseille on Sunday and was later substituted by the coach.
According to a statement from Bordeaux, a medical examination was carried out on the player and no cardiac arrest was detected.
The statement says: “All the additional examinations performed on Tuesday did not reveal any cardiac abnormalities. This Sunday evening at the Stade Vélodrome (2-2), it was a vagal discomfort.
However, the midfielder has now been given clean bill of health to return to training and he’s contention to feature against Angers this Sunday.
