Defending Champions, Liverpool have been eliminated from the Uefa Champions League after suffering a shocking 3-2 home defeat by Atletico Madrid.
Liverpool took the game to extra-time after scaling through 90minutes by a goal through Wijnaldum 43', tying the game which Atletico won 1-0 in the first leg.
Firmino's 94th-minute goal in extra-time would have sent the Spaniards out of the competition if it had come before regulation time.
But it was;t to be as super-sub, Llorente changed the headline with his brace three minutes after Firmino's and the 105th minute, respectively.
Liverpool were undone by an ex-Premier League player, Alvaro Morata, who netted the third in the 120th minute to put the game far from the defending champions' reach, ending 3-2(Agg 4-2) after extra-time.
Holders Liverpool, before now, were unbeaten in two-legged knockout ties under Jurgen Klopp.
