Former Super Eagles star Ifeanyi Udeze has urged Ola Aina to leave Nottingham Forest and consider a move to a team competing in the UEFA Champions League.

The 28-year-old's contract with Forest expires at the end of the season.

Aina has been in remarkable form for the Tricky Trees, featuring in all 28 Premier League matches in the current campaign.

The former Torino defender has been instrumental to the Reds' impressive run this season, contributing two goals and one assist under Nuno Espirito Santo's management.

Aina was in action as Nuno Espirito Santo's side secured a narrow 1-0 victory against Manchester City on Saturday, March 8.

Udeze believes Aina should consider joining a top Champions League club at the end of the season.

“Ola Aina should leave Nottingham Forest if a Champions League club comes for him,” Udeze said on Brila FM.

“If I were Aina, I would leave because if he stays at Forest and they qualify for the Champions League, what happens the next season if they fail to make it again?

“So for me, I think he should leave if a team in the Champions League comes for him,” he added.
