Former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has heaped praise on French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain following their remarkable performance against Premier League leaders Liverpool.

The Parisians stunned the Reds at Anfield in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16, securing a crucial 1-0 victory in regulation time to force extra time and, ultimately, a penalty shootout.

Frenchman Ousmane Dembélé scored the only goal in the 12th minute to level the tie on aggregate before Luis Enrique's side triumphed 4-1 in the shootout.

Gianluigi Donnarumma emerged as the hero of the night, saving two spot-kicks from Darwin Núñez and Curtis Jones to propel PSG into the quarterfinals.

Oliseh, who watched the game, commended Spanish manager Luis Enrique for his team's incredible display.

“Damn, this Paris Saint-Germain squad is extremely talented. I just love the way they actively steal balls from the opposition and play in triangles. Had a blast watching them as they eliminated Liverpool on penalties, 1-4. Bravo, coach Luis Enrique!” Oliseh wrote on X.

PSG will face either Aston Villa or Club Brugge in the quarter-final.
