UCL: Chukwueze sends message to Real Madrid following AC Milan's victory over Brugge

Nigerian international Samuel Chukwueze had a message for Real Madrid following AC Milan's victory over Club Brugge in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.

The Rossoneri recorded a convincing 3-1 win against the Belgian side at San Siro, with Chukwueze coming off the bench to assist the last goal of the game.

The former Villarreal man helped seal Milan's victory by assisting Dutchman Tijani Reijnders for his second goal of the night, as the seven-time UCL winners recorded their first victory of the campaign.

Speaking in a post-match press conference, the Super Eagles forward expressed his excitement about his impact on the game.

“It’s a great moment, having this confidence. I’ve had a difficult month and scoring, and finding an assist is a great feeling and gives me confidence. Very, very important for the team and for the club. We won and we have the chance to climb the table.”

Chukwueze also emphasized the importance of winning their next UCL game against Real Madrid.

“I hope to win against Madrid; it’s important to gain points in the standings. But now the most important thing is to focus on the next match, against Bologna,” he added.
