A return to English football could be on the cards for Nigerian international Kelechi Iheanacho as the latest report has linked the 28-year-old striker with a move to the Premier League.

Recent reports indicate that Premier League clubs, including Wolves and Ipswich Town, are racing to sign the former Leicester City striker.

Reports from Spain indicate that Sevilla has given the Super Eagles forward the greenlight to go on loan despite joining the club in the summer.

The 28-year-old has struggled to get game time since joining the Rojiblancos, with just nine appearances in La Liga, mostly coming off the bench.

The former Manchester City striker has, however, netted 3 goals in two appearances in the Copa del Rey for García Pimienta's side.

Iheanacho joined Sevilla as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Leicester City last summer.
