Tobi Amusan misses out on 100m hurdles final as she places third in semi-final heat

Nigeria's track and field athlete Oluwatobiloba Ayomide popularly called Tobi Amusan missed out on the finals of the 100m hurdles after placing third in the semi-final heat.

She finished with a time of 12:55s behind USA’s Grace Stark and Devynne Charlton of Bahamas.

Her time meant she failed to get a spot as third best non-automatic qualified athlete.

The world record holder was one of Nigeria’s strong medal hopefuls in Paris 2024.

The Commonwealth and African champion made it to the final three years ago in Tokyo, but finished in fourth position.

She failed to make it to her second consecutive final.
